The market for LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is expected to almost double by 2032 from what it was just a few years ago. Google searches for LVP have increase exponentially in the last 5 years. We asked the designers at Lake Murray Floor Covering what has skyrocketed LVP to one of the most popular flooring choices for modern-day homeowners. Here is what they had to say:

1. LVP is durable and more resistant to scratches/dents than other flooring types
2. Many LVP options include a waterproof core, making LVP a great option for basements, kitchens, etc.
3. LVP is a very cost-effective flooring type, either saving you money on your overall project or freeing up dollars for another part of your renovation/build
4. LVP’s design makes it look very similar to certain types of stone or hardwood
